Deacon Dan Zudel

Dan Zudel began serving as Deacon for the congregation in the same small town where he was raised and graduated High School. He is working with Pastor Hensler to help bring the Gospel of Christ to this area. Dan's Word and Sacrament Ministry began in January 2006, following completion of the Michigan District Deacon Training Program. The program included courses in Biblical Studies, Doctrine, Worship styles, Church History and others.

Dan came to St. Timothy from Messiah – Clio where he spent twelve years, having served as Elder, Congregational Chairman and Vice-Chairman as well as being involved in various prayer ministries. He and his wife, Char, organized and taught "in-home" Adult Bible Studies and coordinated Maundy Thursday Prayer Vigils and, as Church Extension Representatives, assisted Messiah in becoming a "Million Dollar Congregation". Dan also helped to establish the Messiah Men's Ministry.

Prior to transferring to Messiah, Dan was a twenty-four year member of Trinity – Davison, where he was an Adult Bible Class teacher, member of the Youth Board and congregational chairman for the District wide "Growing in Vision and Mission" Stewardship Program. He was an Elder for twelve years, serving as the Chairman of the Elders for nine of those years. Dan and Char were also Stephen Ministry Leaders.

Dan and Char live in Davison where they raised three sons and now enjoy nine grandchildren. He had worked for General Motors and Electronic Data Systems as an Information Technology Manager until 2002 and later worked as an Office manager for Allen Funeral Home in Davison.
