Sunday School

Our Sunday School is a Christ centered ministry open to all children from the age of 3 through the 8th grade. Each class is taught by a lay teacher who has love for Jesus and the children that have been brought to Sunday School to know him.

Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not turn from it.
Proverbs 22:6 NIV

Our children gather as one group for an opening worship service at 9:45 a.m. There we enjoy songs, celebrate birthdays, recognize the children with perfect attendance each month, and welcome our visitors, honoring the "disciple" in the class that brought their friend to know Jesus. The students are then dismissed into their respective classrooms, where they receive group instruction from their teacher. Sunday School ends at 10:45 a.m.

Every year our Sunday School children partake in the tradition of presenting a Christmas program for family and friends. We also have an annual Easter Egg Hunt with a craft activity, and a Harvest party each October.

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these."
Matthew 19:14 NIV
